FIRE crews were called to rescue a horse which had wedged itself upside down in a ditch this afternoon (Wednesday).
Crews from Baldock, Stevenage and the rescue support unit from Hatfield attended Westonbury, Weston at 2.46pm.
They were at the scene for an hour.
The incident was dealt with by 3.11pm when the horse managed to release itself.
