He’s the best in the world at what he does, and he’s coming to Baldock.
Fiddler Bruce Molsky, above, is the undisputed king of Appalachia’s timeless folk music traditions, and he’s also a virtuoso guitarist and banjo player.
And he’s the special guest at the Baldock and Letchworth Blues, Folk & Roots Club session on Wednessday, November 19, from 8.30pm.
Bruce frequently joins genre-busting supergroups, like the Grammy-nominated Fiddlers Four, and Mozaik, with Hungarian Nikola Parov, and Celtic giant Donal Lunny, and performs in a trio with Scottish fiddler Aly Bain and Swedish master Ale Moller.
According to one critic: “When he plays, you can practically hear the floorboards and rocking chair creak on the back porch.”

Entry to the gig at the Orange Tree in Norton Road, Baldock, is £12, with £10 concessions and accompanied U16s don’t pay a penny.
