If you’re looking to enjoy a bumper dose of big top thrills, then get on down to Stevenage’s Fairlands Valley Showground where the Netherlands National Circus is setting up shop.
Performances start on Wednesday and continue until Sunday, with Yasmine Smart from the famous Billy Smart circus family hosting and a multinational parade of artistes keen to show off their skills.
Among them are Australian trapeze act the Flying Aces, the Jidinis illusionist troupe, clowning from Jonny Bogino, Yosvani Benneweis on the death-defying high wire, stunning aerialist Alina and the extreme strength and balance displayed by the Ethiopian boys – and not forgetting Team Fonz, a Happy Days-themed turn on the trampoline.
The fast-moving two hour show has something for all the family including a live band. There are two performances a day and three on Saturday – find out more online at www.netherlandscircus.com.
