Don’t scoff at Scandinavia – two of the comics on the bill at the Lastminutecomedy club this week hail from that part of the world.
Lastminutecomedy ringmaster Paul B. Edwards regularly crosses the North Sea for gigs and now Jim Swann and Nils-Erik Flato are returning the favour.
Both Jim – he has English parents but was brought up in Norway – and Nils-Erik, who was educated in the USA so won’t have a language barrier to overcome either, are on a brief foray to Blighty and fitting in gigs at The Orange Tree in Baldock on Thursday night before heading down to Hitchin’s Woodside Hall the following evening.
Completing the international bill is Canadian Simon King.
Doors for both gigs open at 7.30pm with comedy starting an hour later at 8.30pm. It’s £10 on the door or save a quid on the Hitchin show only with an advance ticket from Hitchin Initiative in The Churchyard – call 01462 453335 for details.
