His greatest hit may have been a tune penned by Rolling Stones duo Jagger and Richards, but even at the age of 75 Chris Farlowe shows no signs of fading away.

Chris had an iconic number one with Fade Away in 1966 and was famed for his Stones covers.

He’s still got a powerful set of pipes and he’ll be putting them to good use at Stevenage’s Gordon Craig Theatre when the Sensational Sixties Experience visits on Saturday, March 12.

The bill will also feature the sounds of the sixties from stars like Herman’s Hermits, Love Affair, the Union Gap, the Amen Corner and Freddie and The Dreamers, with many original band members.

Organisers promise a set list of more than 25 hits from that golden era – to find out more about the show visit the website at www.gordon-craig.co.uk or call 01438 363200.
