Let your hair down in Stevenage during the Easter holiday at a fun event to promote new musical Rapunzel.

With book, music and lyrics by choreographer Khiley Williams, musical director Phil Dennis and director and executive producer Catherine Lomax, Rapunzel has its premiere at the Gordon Craig Theatre on Thursday, April 13.

Based on the Brothers Grimm classic fairy tale and featuring new music, there are nine performances of the show over the Easter weekend.

With that initial run already sold out, producers will be bringing Rapunzel back to the Lytton Way venue in the summer – from Thursday, July 27 to Sunday, July 30 – before it then goes on tour.

And to promote that second run of seven dates in Stevenage in July, creatives from the Gordon Craig will be out in force at the Westgate Shopping Centre on Thursday, April 6 from 10am to 3pm.

Youngsters can join in themed arts and craft activities, and parents can enter a raffle to win a family ticket to Rapunzel in July.

Courtesy of SuperCuts Stevenage, you can have your hair styled like Rapunzel, and there will be special offers on selected hair products at Claire’s Accessories.

There will also be a chocolate bunny lollipop for every child, subject to availability.
