Come along for a guided walk on Sunday on the recently purchased extension to the east side of The Lodge nature reserve, Sandy. If the weather is fine we should hear skylarks, and woodland birds will be establishing their breeding territories. The walk begins at 10am at the shop at The Lodge nature reserve and is free to RSPB members, £3 to others (£1.50 concessions, £1 children).There will be a guided walk at Sandy Heath Quarry, on Thursday, March 9, beginning at 9.30am at the shop at The Lodge nature reserve. Recent sightings there have included skylarks, redwings, fieldfares and little owls. There is no charge for this event Please call in at the shop or phone 01767 680541 to book your place(s).
