We have had a busy month, starting off with a carnival skills workshop which was great fun and hopefully to be repeated for those who missed out this time. We ran a pool competition on March 17, congratulations to Tom Clarkson and Carl Heath who won up against some tough competition, many much older then them. On March 24 we had an archery session, well done to Mia Birch who won in the cadets' section and was overall highest score. Luke McMullen scored the highest in the junior leaders' section and John McLoughlin for the instructors. Last week John McLoughlin organised a pub quiz night, here the instructors shined. Matt and Ann Graves took first place with Junior Leaders Craig Elkin and Luke McMullen a close half point behind. This month sees us preparing for our rescheduled night hike on the April 28. If you would like to sponsor a cadet on the 10 mile course please do not hesitate in contacting us. If you are looking for a new interest this year why not come along on a Friday night and give us a try. WAC is for boys and girls aged 10+. We meet on Friday nights 7 - 9 pm at Millennium House, Shortmead Street, Biggleswade, for more information contact Mrs Desborough on 01767 221938.
