WHAT - Wilbury Hills Amateur Theatricals - are holding an open evening on Friday, September 15. Wine and nibbles will be provided and various activities will be going during the evening, as well as an opportunity for anyone to join if they want to. The event will be held at Wilbury Junior School, Bedford Road from 7.30pm to 10pm. Free admission. On the subject of theatre there are a couple of one liners, said by theatrical superstars which I would like to share with you.. Charlie Chaplin said, "I hate the theatre, I also hate the sight of blood, but it's in my veins." and the marvellous Bob Hope, who I was privileged to meet and interview on more than one occasion, once told me, "I don't feel old - I don't feel anything until noon. Then it's time for my nap.!
