A prospective National Campaign for the Prostate Cancer Charity is due to be piloted in Hitchin on Sunday, September 3. As the name suggests Dawn Walk means an early start for those prepared to participate and help raise funds for the charity. Assembly at 5.30am for a leisurely amble around approximately 7kms of beautiful farmland with some breathtaking views as the sun comes up. Finish around 7.15am for tea, coffee, bacon rolls or croissants in time to pick up the Sunday papers on the way home and go back to bed with the warm glow of having helped a worthy cause. Organised by Hitchin Tilehouse Rotary Club, sponsorship and information packs are available from Maggie Dyer at 16 Tilehouse Street or from Hitchin Initiative at 27 Churchyard. Entry fee is £5 for the pack and route map.
