SIXTH formers at Sandy Upper School can relax and enjoy the rest of their summer holidays as their A-level results proved favourable.
Every student passed two or more A-levels, with 42 per cent of pupils achieving grades A to B.
Headteacher Marie Baker said: "The students have worked very hard to achieve their results. Overall they are very much as expected although there are always a few surprises and disappointments."
Sarah Bruce is delighted to have achieved a B in English and two Cs in music and history.
She is off to Leicester University to study ancient history and archaeology.
She said: "I have been in a state of nervous shock as the day drew closer. I have to start preparing for university now. I didn't want to jinx anything so I have done the bare minimum to get ready so far.
