A TEAM of 18 cyclists have been on their bikes to raise money for charity.
Steve Cameron, the manager at The Anchor pub in Walsworth, Hitchin, was joined by 17 regulars and friends who took part in the London Bikeathon - a 26km cycle ride set up to raise money and awareness for Leukaemia Research.
It was the tenth year that Mr Cameron had taken part in the ride and it was predicted that the group had raised about £2,000.
Mr Cameron said: "There were a lot of people who helped us including a chap who lent us a van and a driver so we could get the equipment down there and he didn't charge.
"It was a great day. Most of the cyclists hadn't even considered riding 26 miles before. When we finished we had a drink, then came back to the Anchor and had a barbecue.
