PEOPLE travelling between Datchworth and Stevenage got a surprise on Friday when they saw a series of crop circles in a field of standing corn.
People even stopped to look at the perfectly formed circles that had been carved into the crops on a hillside close to the Van Hage Garden Centre in Bragbury Lane some time on Thursday night.
Most onlookers thought the crop circles had been cut in the shape of a bird. Twenty four hours later the circles had vanished as quickly as they had arrived - this time, mown down by a combine harvester.
