READERS in Comet country have been in touch with the mother of a 16-year-old car crash victim who has been in a coma for eight weeks.
Last week The Comet reported how Chrissie Johnson, a former Stevenage resident, had been involved in a crash on November 16 and had been in a coma ever since.
After doctors informed her family that it is long term memory which can help revive coma victims her mother Gina wanted Chrissie's old friends to get in touch with her.
Speaking yesterday, Gina, 37, said: "We've had a number of friends who have been in touch since the story went in the paper.
