MID BEDS District Council is hoping to make money for charity out of the Queen's visit to their new headquarters.
Her Majesty accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh opened the new £15m council building in Priory House, Chicksands, in November.
To commemorate the royal visit the council has produced a special edition of its Horizon magazine which has gone on sale for £1 with the proceeds going to two charities nominated by council chairman Cllr Anthony Duggan.
"It was a great privilege for me to welcome Her Majesty to Mid-Beds to open our new offices in November last year," said Cllr Duggan.
"I was pleased to explain how we have incorporated many exciting features into the construction of our new building. I am proud to be chairman at the time of Her Majesty's visit and think there is no better way to remember her visit than in the many pictures in this special edition of Horizon.
"Any profits from this publication will go to the charities I am supporting - Keech Cottage Children's Hospice and the Multiple Sclerosis Trust."
The eight-page magazine not only reflects the Queen's tour of the building but also shows many of the people who attended the event including special guests, staff, school children and members of the public.
The magazine is on sale at the Citizone Points of Presence in Saffron Street, Biggleswade.
