ELEVEN people were injured in two separate accidents on Wednesday, January 30.

The first crash happened on the A505 at Offley Hill near Hitchin when two cars and a mini-bus collided.

Three ambulances were sent to the incident and nine people were taken to Lister Hospital with minor injuries.

The second accident happened on the northbound lane of the A1(M) just past junction 10 at the Stotfold turn off when a car overturned blocking the motorway for more than an hour. The elderly couple in the vehicle were taken to Lister Hospital suffering from minor injuries.
