A teenage motorcyclist has been hospitalised with back and leg injuries following a crash also involving a car in Stevenage.
Emergency crews were called to the stretch of Six Hills Way between the Monkswood Way and Rockingham Way roundabouts shortly before 12.30pm after reports of a crash between a Ford Focus and a Lexmoto Venom motorbike.
An ambulance crew treated the teenager – described by a spokesman as 17 years old – for back pains and a leg injury before taking him to the Lister Hospital for further care.
The ambulance spokesman said the crash was thought to have happened near the junction of Rockingham Way and Homestead Moat.
A police spokeswoman said there were road closures at St George’s Way and Rockingham Way.
