Emergency services attend Letchworth crash

Firefighters were called to a crash in Letchworth.

Firefighters were called to a crash in Letchworth.


One person had to be rescued from a vehicle following a crash in Letchworth this afternoon.

Firefighters from Hitchin and Baldock, and the ambulance service, attended the scene in Southern Way.

They were called shortly before 2pm to reports of people trapped.

Firefighters tweeted: “One person extricated.

“Assisting colleagues in the ambulance service.”
