A driver was injured in a crash between four cars at Watton-at-Stone.

Police were called at 7.43am today to a collision on the Watton-at-Stone bypass off Bragbury Lane.

A black Peugeot 208, a grey Peugeot 206, a silver Volkswagen Eos Sport and a grey BMW X3 were involved in the crash.

Two patients were taken by ambulance to Lister Hospital for treatment.

The road has been closed while emergency services deal with the scene and the cars are recovered.

Highways were also made aware due to debris and fluid in the road.
