Road closures were put in place in Baldock this morning after a crash involving a motorcyclist.

Police were called to Whitehorse Street at about 9am today when a man collided with some roadside furniture when riding his black Yamaha motorbike.

Road closures were in place at the junction of Station Road and Clothall Road while emergency services assessed the situation, and paramedics treated a man in his 20s for minor injuries.

The Baldock Fire and Rescue team also attended and administered trauma care while waiting for ambulance crews to arrive.

The road has now been re-opened.
