A LORRY collided with a car yesterday morning (Sunday) on the outskirts of Stevenage, causing an A-road to shut.

The A602 was temporarily closed at Bragbury End, Stevenage, following the crash between a heavy goods vehicle and a blue Vauxhall Zafira at around 8.50am.

The road, which was completely blocked after the HGV allegedly jack-knifed, had reopened after 10am.

No-one was injured as a result of the collision.
