Car ends up on side after Letchworth crash

A car ended up on its side after a crash in Letchworth this afternoon.

Police were called to reports of a crash in West View at 3.50pm, with two vehicles involved – a red Suzuki Celerio and a silver Ford Mondeo.

Firefighters and paramedics also rushed to the scene. A woman described by police as aged in her 70s was trapped in a car, but was safely removed from her vehicles.

Police said road closures were in place, and that no serious injuries had been reported.
