Two lorries have crashed on the A1 near Biggleswade this morning.

The A1 south of Biggleswade has been completely blocked this morning after a crash involving two lorries.

The Comet understands the road is blocked and there’s very slow traffic due to the crash, which happened between Junction 10 of the A1(M) and the A1 Retail Park roundabout, for the A6001 Biggleswade South, at about 6.50am this morning.

At about 8.45am, Highways England tweeted: “The #A1 remains blocked northbound between #A1(M) / #A507 and the #A6001 near #Biggleswade due to a collision. @bedspolice remain at scene, please take care on approach delays building.”

The Comet is awaiting further details from the emergency services.
