This morning I went, as usual, for my newspaper at the shop by the St Nicholas pub. I was very upset to see that the beautiful mural by the Leys schoolchildren covered by graffiti-style ugliness.
Why was this done? Spoiling a lovely effort by children which has been there for years, just looking cheerful and colourful every day I saw it. Now it is ruined and I hate to go past it now.
