SIR - I am a pensioner who is trying to find out some information about my uncle who went to work in Letchworth because of the north-east depression.
My uncle was Robert Wilson and his birth date 1900 and his wife was called Lily, they had a son also called Robert, who served as RAF aircrew during WW2. Their residence was at 44 Hall Mead, Letchworth.
I would be grateful for any information your Postbag readers may be able to provide by letter or email.
