A supplier installing new heating at North Hertfordshire Homes’ Reynolds retirement living scheme in Pelican Way, Letchworth Garden City, was thrilled to receive a formal thank you from tenants Jan Heath and Sandra Lunn.

Guardian Consulting was awarded a gratitude plaque in recognition of the courteous way it dealt with tenants and for discussing what and how furnishings should be moved around flats while pipework and radiators were being installed.

Jan said: “The tenants at Reynolds had held discussions about the disruption a new heating system would and could cause, however in the end we had no reason to be worried about the chaos which could have arisen.”

Andy Buchan, North Hertfordshire Homes’ Head of Supported Housing and Care, commented: “Feedback from tenants is very important to us when they have contractors working in their homes. They are the best quality control inspectors we can have. Guardian have worked with us on a number of scheme refurbishments and it is great to see that our tenants are happy with their customer service as well as their technical expertise.”
