I am a 35 year old mother of four and in November 2004 I was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer, osteosarcoma.
After major surgery and intensive chemotherapy I am now on the road to recovery. My hair is growing back and I have just had the all clear from my consultant in UCLH, London. Throughout my chemotherapy I would not have got through it without the support from my macmillan nurse and want everyone to know how vital this support is to a cancer patient and their families.
I am now back to a reasonable fitness and will be taking part in the seven mile fundraising walk in aid of the macmillan charity and want to raise as much money as I possibly can.
I was hoping that your newspaper could print an article on my behalf to raise awareness and lots of money for the cause.
