The Letchworth, Hitchin and District Branch of the RAF Club was founded in 1946 and, with dwindling numbers, there is every possibility of the branch facing closure. Hopefully, if any Ex-RAF personnel reading this letter would come to the AGM meeting at the Four Emblems Club in Station Road, Letchworth on March 9 at 8pm to form the committee, they would be very welcome and also save a very hard working branch.
