SIR - Well done to Hannah Gray, The Last Word, December 22 for her defence of speed cameras.

The lobby against speed cameras is very vociferous but I suspect it represents a minority of drivers.

Surely most sensible people must accept that speeding is selfish and criminally irresponsible, and speed cameras are a reasonable means of controlling it.
