I HAVE a reputation for being a little bit clumsy. OK, fairly to very clumsy. I have fallen over, bruised myself, broken and spilled things in fantastic style over the years.

However, nothing I've done can compare to the achievement of Nick Flynn. He was the man who tripped on his shoe laces at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, fell down the stairs and shattered three 300-year-old Qing vases.

It seems, however, Mr Flynn is not a serial vase-breaker, and although he admits to "a few household accidents" like dropping a cup or smashing a plate, he claims he's never done anything on that scale before. So if a generally un-clumsy person can wreak such devastating havoc, there's no hope for someone like me. I don't think I'll be visiting any museums in the near future...
