I was appalled and disgusted when visiting Letchworth town centre yesterday, that yet another shop had been vandalised and a large window broken and boarded up. My disgust was because the shop in question was the Garden House Hospice shop.
The Hospice does a wonderful job for terminally ill patients. Perhaps some day relatives of these vandals may need help. The mindless destruction caused by either drunk or drugged people must be stopped. Perhaps if we still had police on the beat in town centres, there would not be so much mindless vandalism.
