SIR - Another retired Old Stevenage retailer wrote to you recently appealing for help in locating a bench seat which the Old Town retailers presented to the town back in November 2000.
I remember being photographed for The Comet at the time so you probably have a picture in your back issues. The metal studwork is still in place alongside another park bench, so what happened to it?
