I think it significant that the writer of the letter headed 'In touch on faith school issue' in last week's paper should see fit to withhold their name and ownership of the letter.

The sentiments expressed are anti faith and more specifically anti Catholic. The writer is clearly in tune with the county council's underlying plan to deplete Faith schools to the point of extinction.

Other writers on this subject have been prepared to own their views - I can only assume that the writer is not proud of their opinion and therefore unwilling to own it.
