I would like to thank all those who have supported us in our campaign to keep Westbury Primary School open, as you will know, Cabinet took the decision that our school should close in 2009, which of course was a devastating result for all involved.
We received huge support from many people, which showed the high esteem in which our school was held.
At no point was the education at Westbury under question, in fact our standards and our work was praised by all, at every stage in the process.
It is now time for us to carry on that work with all in the school community, to ensure a smooth transition for the children, parents and staff concerned.
