I feel that I must reply to the Last Word article 'It's time to fly the flag...but not for football'article in your paper dated May 4. I fly our St George's flag all the year round, I also vote at every election.
How can Hannah Gray, whoever she is, talk down to me because I support our country and its flag. What a sad person she is if all she thinks about is politics and voting.
If she hates seeing our flag flying or our silly little flags on our cars, why is she in this country, she should clear off to another country, perhaps Saudi Arabia. Of course she will not, she knows on which side her bread is buttered.
She says it is a free country, so why doesn't she get a life and shut her mouth so we can enjoy our flag?
