At last someone else who finds aircraft noise annoying.

I agree with Keith White (The Comet, January 10), why do we have to have planes flying over our homes at all, especially at night.

I have heard them flying over this house at well past midnight on many occasions.

In the summer months they come over at one every minute all day and fly very low. To say that it is disturbing, is putting it mildly, it has got to the stage where it is almost impossible to sit in the garden and have a conversation.
