Following the non-appearance of Simon Earles, manager of Luton Airport's Project 2030, at the intended updating meeting with Kimpton Parish Council, it was very interesting to hear from his spokesperson that the airport keeps Kimpton "informed on a regular basis" (local press report October 12).
Perhaps he would tell us if the land which would have been required in order to build the new runway (Option D) is now no longer needed by the airport. And if this decision was taken at least two months ago, why have we not been told about it?
Is this what the airport means by Kimpton "being kept informed on a regular basis"?
