Another successful pre-tenancy training session has been held with people hoping to become North Hertfordshire Homes tenants.
Most applicants haven’t run their own household before and the sessions provide a safe place to ask lots of questions and do some myth busting. Paying for a roof over our head, food and fuel bills is the number one priority that may not come naturally if you have always lived at home or in someone else’s household.
The applicants pictured look like they are sitting an exam, but it’s actually a supermarket shopping competition to guess a few living costs. For example: how much is a pint of milk?
