Regarding County cuts free transport to faith schools, the council had a consultation period and found 90 per cent of responses were not in favour of their plans, but the council went ahead anyway. So not only are they not listening to the people, they are wasting our money by having a consultation exercise that they ignore. Whether in favour of the plans or not, I think everyone should take notice of the council's decision to ignore a key component of the democratic process - the voters.
