From an ex-Baldock resident, regarding the issue of Tesco trolleys decorating the town of Baldock.
Councillor Muir is correct in stating that this is a blight on the town of Baldock, however, I do not believe that the Tesco senior management give a second thought to the threats emanating from North Herts Council or individual councillors.
No doubt the legal advice and financial wherewithal available to Tesco has had an effect on what the authorities can and cannot do with their (Tesco's) property, their trolleys.
Making noises and doing nothing is something we, as an electorate, have been very used to for a long time now, both locally and nationally. I suppose having your name in print with local elections coming up is just an unintended coincidence?
