Here’s a hands-on way to get familiar with North Herts College’s new image – plastering lecturer Chris Bailey has grabbed the chance to include the brand new logo, unveiled last week, into his course with students working to create plaster moulds of the eye-catching graphic.

Students following other disciplines at the college will also be set projects involving the new logo, part of a rebrand which new chief executive Matt Hamnett says will help set the tone for a five-year plan which has started with the formation of the Hart Learning Group to oversee the college, the Da Vinci studio schools and the Thomas Alleyne Academy in Stevenage, as well as a new venture which will aim to work closely with businesses and help them invest in emerging talent.

An exhibition of student work linked to the brand will be held in the new year.
