In response to all the correspondence regarding the closure of Rectory Lane, may I point out that as predicted when the road was closed before, the already over-busy roads Walkern Road, Letchmore Road and Sish Lane all got even busier.
The schools in these roads make far more people at risk of an accident, Don Courtman rightly said it is lucky that there have been no fatalities in Rectory Lane, unfortunately we cannot say the same for Sish Lane.
