SIR - You will remember during the summer I wrote saying that if I received £1 for each time I saw a car driver using a mobile phone, I would be a millionaire by Xmas.
I would like to revise my forecast to the end of October. Things have got steadily worse, simply because no one enforces the law.
Perhaps the council should be asked to levy the appropriate fines. They would collect a fortune and that would benefit all of us.
