I am not surprised that the number of visitors/shoppers using Baldock market has dwindled. When I moved into the area, I was pleased to hear there was a market at Baldock.

However, when I visited it, I was hugely disappointed. The quality and variety of stalls is awful and seemed just a collection of low quality goods that were 'anything for £1'. I would support the market if you got some decent stallholders, perhaps encouraging it to become a Farmer's Market. If you give the public a decent quality choice, this market will once again thrive.
