I Am Legend (15)
It is three years since a man-made virus has overtaken the planet and military scientist (Will Smith) is the last man standing, well almost.
Set in a beautifully abandoned New York he spends his days hunting, gathering and chatting to mannequins, and his nights trying to avoid mutated blood hungry humans.
As he attempts to find a cure to the virus we witness a man trying to hang on to his sanity in a world of loneliness and fear.
Smith is great, pity about the lumpy vampire-men.

Balls of Fury (12A)
OK, here's the premise: evil triad crime boss (Christopher Walken) is running a table tennis tournament to the death, which is infiltrated by a washed up, spandex rock loving, former US Olympic table tennis star (Dan Fogler) hired by the FBI in this Enter The Dragon with ping-pong comedy.
Got that?
Funny in parts, but even a
ludicrously cast Walken can't keep this film's balls in the air.
