There are still plenty of honest people about who do not ask for thanks for the things that they do.

I am an 84-year-old pensioner. Last Monday about 11pm I left the Four Emblems Club in Station Road, Letchworth, to get the taxi home.

The next morning I found out that I had lost my wallet, so I went to town to stop my bank account, etc. On my return, I found my wallet had been put in my letter box and the answerphone had a message from a lady saying she had returned my wallet and hoped that there was nothing missing. She left no name or phone number, so I cannot thank her and tell her nothing was missing, even the £50 note was still in it.

I would like to put something in the paper to give thanks to her and all the other kind people in this world.
