SIR - I read with interest about the lady who was fined for parking by having two wheels on the path. Last Sunday, I had to go down Common View and as I cannot walk, I went in my electric buggy and had to go right up the bank because a car was parked in the middle of the path. It was a good job that my husband and daughter were with me, because I could not have got by on my own and I could not get down the kerb.

What I would very much like to know is why some people are allowed to park in the middle of a path in the dark and get away with it, and another person gets fined for two wheels on the path and in daylight.
