SIR - I have just read your article 'The Last Word' and felt compelled to e-mail you.
I totally agree with Hannah Gray about the way the story of the children who died in Corfu last week was reported on the television. I think it absolutely wrong and utterly appalling to photograph or film anyone who has just lost someone close to them. I found the whole thing deeply disturbing, intrusive and a sign of this voyeuristic culture. After all to a lot of people watching the news is a form of entertainment. What is the world coming to?
