I have read your article reference the yellow canopy in the town centre of Stevenage.
Just to say that I agree that the new canopy is a vast improvement in the area but I am somewhat dismayed at its costs. I would also like to point out that you have only printed the opinions of people with the ages of 74, 76, 62 and 64.
Maybe a broader spectrum of Stevenage citizens would be more appropriate concerning their ages and opinions. After all, Stevenage is on the whole a younger town and above all a New Town.

What range of salaries are these people on, to waste our money in such a way? I have seen better displays over garage forecourts.
It would be interesting to know if they would have spent their own cash on such a project.
No wonder council tax is set to rise again. Please name them so that we can vote them out next time.
