Yet again I have witnessed the unedifying spectacle of two PCSO's casually strolling along Queensway in Stevenage Town Centre, with their brains in neutral, as several speeding pavement cyclists gleefully race past them and around them.
I have written several times to the council about this in the 'Your Shout' column in their local community newsletter.
Although I get a brief note of acknowledgement, I have yet to receive a full letter from anyone stating what, if anything is going to be done. So the big question that I am now left asking is; What on earth are we harassed pedestrians paying council tax for?
